CoVaccine HT™ for enhancing B-cell (antibody) response

Please click here for a PDF of the CoVaccine HT™ fact sheet.

CoVaccine HT™ is a proprietary adjuvant which can be used in both prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines where an enhanced B-cell (antibody) response is required. So far results have shown excellent activity in stimulating the humoral response to both self antigens and foreign antigens. It has also been shown to be a better immune stimulator than aluminium hydroxide (alum) in non-clinical studies with our Angiotensin Therapeutic Vaccine.

CoVaccine HT™ contains a mixture of squalene, Polysorbate 80, sucrose fatty acid sulphate ester (SFASE) in water-for-injections. A stable aqueous emulsion is formed on mixing with phosphate buffered saline and this is mixed with the antigen to generate the final vaccine.

We are actively seeking partners who are interested in licensing CoVaccine HT™ for inclusion in their vaccines. Adjuvant will be available for formal preclinical studies in the first half of 2007 and cGMP quality material will be available in the second half of 2007. Please contact our Business Development team for more information on the CoVaccine HT™ opportunity.
